COMPOSITES PHENOLIC RESIN BASED “THERMOSETTING” IN AUTOMOTIVE POWERTRAIN was the object of the Technical Workshop last Wednesday 19.09.2018 in the Hotel Real Fini Baia del Re meeting room.

Organized by COMCOR ENGINEERING Srl in collaboration with SUMITOMO BAKELITE SBHPP (Sumitomo Bakelite High Performance Plastics).

The partnership between COMCOR and SUMITOMO SBHPP has been announced, and the main drivers of development in auto-motive have been addressed, with particular focus in this electrification era.

The materials and the technologies presented are a strategic technological crossroad to reach the challenging content targets that the automotive industry is setting today.

The audience composed by OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers (system level, components and materials level), CAE consultants, International Automotive development consultants, analyzed opportunities for redesign, weight reduction, greater geometric and functional integration, CO2 reduction, cost reduction, performance , noise reduction, thermal management, with a very broad overview of application cases in development and already in production with thermosets.
